A few details to help you plan the perfect weekend with us.
Please RSVP no later than June 22, 2026.
We will be staying at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa from August 20 to August 23. Please see the Travel & Stay tab for more information.
Absolutely not. Feel free to book any nearby accommodation that suits your needs. However, we do have discounted group rates arranged at the Grand Geneva. You can find more details under the "Travel & Stay" tab.
Use the room reservation link on the Travel page. The deadline to qualify for the discounted rate is July 22, 2026.
Yes! We ask that guests dress in Formal or Black-Tie Optional attire. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses. Please avoid wearing white or near-white colors like ivory or champagne. The ceremony will be outdoors in August, so sunglasses and hand fans are encouraged.
Due to limited capacity, only guests listed on the invitation are guaranteed. Out-of-state guests may ask about a plus one, and the couple will try to accommodate.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We hope that the advance notice means you are still able to celebrate with us.
Please arrive at our designated meeting location near the golf shop by 4:30 PM. Look for the yellow star on the map! As guests arrive, people movers will transport everyone down to the ceremony site. The last cart will depart at 4:55 PM, and all guests should be seated by 4:45 PM for a prompt 5PM start. Because our ceremony location is only accessible by cart before the ceremony begins, arriving after the processional starts means the only route is a long walk down a steep hill. We strongly discourage attempting to walk in, as you will be highly visible and may unintentionally disrupt both the ceremony and our videography. If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, we kindly ask that you watch from Embers Terrace and then quietly join us for the reception once the ceremony has concluded. We promise we won't notice if you missed the ceremony, but we will if someone walks into it midway through. The walk is also pretty steep and long and may be very difficult with heels. We would not want anyone to get hurt. Thank you for planning ahead and arriving on time—it means so much to us and will help keep our ceremony uninterrupted for everyone.

Yes, free on-site parking is available.
Our ceremony and reception will take place in the hotel where we reserved our room block and where most our guests will be staying, so no additional transportation will be required for our nuptials. Guests flying in can contact Jenny at 224-688-9714 for ride coordination.
Yes - we kindly ask that you just let us know which event you will be attending when you RSVP. Thank you!
We will be hosting a plated, three-course dinner. During the RSVP process, you will be able to select your main entree. Vegetarian options and accommodations for severe food allergies (gluten-free, nut-free, etc.) are available - please note these requirements when you RSVP so we can inform the venue.
We do not have a registry! Your presence is the greatest gift to us. However, if you would like to support us towards our honeymoon fund, we would much appreciate it! For more information, please go to the "Gifts" tab.
